What is an Investment Account?

An investment account is different to a savings account you might have with your bank. Unlike a savings account an investment account has a higher level of risk associated with it, meaning the returns are not pre-determined and could go up or down.

When you open a Kiwi Wealth Managed Funds account, your investment is held in an Investment Account.

You get to choose the name of your Investment Account, which is usually the goal you are saving towards (eg: kid’s education), and the Investment Mandate (which fund you invest in - Conservative, Balanced or Growth).

With Kiwi Wealth Managed Funds you are able to open multiple Investment Accounts for each of your individual savings goals.
