What we charge
Know what you're paying for with Kiwi Wealth
We charge a standard annual management fee of up to 1.5% of your account balance per year, subject to a minimum fee of $120 a year. Fees can range from 0.5% to 1.5%. They’re taken automatically out of your account and will affect your returns.
There are also other costs associated with investing your money that aren't included in the annual management fee. This includes things like the costs of buying and selling investments, such as brokerage. These are separate expenses for each fund, charged on top of the annual management fee. Your actual fee will vary depending on your investment direction and your account balance.
You can see an estimate of how these extra expenses affect the fees you pay in the table below. The estimates in this table are based on the fees paid by a member with a fund balance of $10,000.

What your fees cover
The fees we charge cover the costs of managing and administering our Super Scheme. This includes:
- Supervisor’s services
- administration services
- investment management services
- registry and custody costs
- marketing
- auditing
- legal
- printing and postage.
What we don't charge you for
We don't charge extra performance fees when our funds are doing well.We also don't charge extra fees for:
- joining or leaving the scheme
- changing your investment direction
- making withdrawals
- arranging a transfer from another superannuation scheme (but the provider you are transferring from may charge you fees or there may be bank charges associated with the transfer).
