Why is my employee or employer contribution missing?

It can take more than three months from when contributions are deducted from your pay and when they show in your KiwiSaver account.

  • They may still be with your employer, waiting to be transferred to Inland Revenue.
  • They may be being processed or held at Inland Revenue. Inland Revenue will hold your first contribution for three months before transferring to us. Call Inland Revenue’s helpline: 0800 5494 7283 for a status report.
  • Please don‘t contact us to ask us about missing employee or employer contributions. You must follow this up with Inland Revenue.
