Cheque payment missing?

If you mailed us a cheque and it’s not showing on your account, here’s what to do:

  • If you made the cheque payment through Inland Revenue, call Inland Revenue’s helpline: 0800 5494 7283 to follow it up.
  • If you made the cheque payment to us and the cheque has cleared your account, contact us on 0800 427 384 or login and select 'send us a question' in the 'quick links'.
  • If you made the cheque payment to us and the cheque has not cleared your account, allow time for the mail (freepost takes longer than regular mail) and allow five working days for the cheque to be processed, deposited and cleared at your bank. If you suspect the cheque is missing, contact us on 0800 427 384 or login and select 'send us a question' in the 'quick links'.
