Bringing you all the latest news, views and up-to-date info on KiwiSaver, retirement planning, finance and more.

It’s five years since Gareth Morgan sold our business to Kiwi Group Holdings, and we’ve decided to give him his name back.

To do this, we’re retiring the ‘Gareth Morgan Investments’ name from today, and replacing it with Kiwi Wealth.

If you’re a member of our KiwiSaver scheme, you’ll find the new name and logo instantly recognisable. No longer just the name of our KiwiSaver Scheme, Kiwi Wealth will apply to all of our retail products and services. This means that our Private Portfolio Service will now be known as the Kiwi Wealth Private Portfolio Service and our GMI Superannuation Scheme will be known as the Kiwi Wealth Super Scheme.

We’re also replacing our Gareth Morgan Investments logo – the current green swoosh will be replaced by the sage square that will already be familiar to all of our KiwiSaver scheme members:

Is the new name and logo the only change?

As part of the change to our name and logo we’re also retiring our old website www.gmi.co.nz. However, you’ll be able to find all the same information on our www.kiwiwealth.co.nz website and any pages you may have bookmarked will redirect automatically.

How will this change affect our customers?

This change won’t impact our customers because nothing else is changing. Our core values have not changed. The way we manage our customers’ investments hasn’t changed, and the people behind the business, who look after our customers’ money and answer their calls and emails, all remain the same.

And our customers will still get the regular, detailed reporting about their investments that we’ve always provided.

We’re really excited for the future of Kiwi Wealth and hope you are too.
