Is your KiwiSaver scheme provider on your side? When you’re planning your retirement, it’s good to know support is available when and where you need it.
“A known successful brand, reliable, honest, with fantastic online services who are and continue to deliver great returns. More importantly they build great relationships by answering any queries you may have”
We’re delighted when we see testimonials like this one from our Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme members.
We pride ourselves on the level of support we offer, and “great relationships” are exactly what we strive for.
Retirement planning can be daunting if you’re going it alone. So, we aim to give you all the information you need to feel confident making decisions about your money.
At Kiwi Wealth, we give you information and advice in a number of different ways. It starts with our online tools, moves on to our customer services team, ably supported by our team of financial advisers.
Our entire team is based in New Zealand, so you’ll know you’re getting support from people who really understand you.
Here’s the lowdown on how we give you the information and advice you need to succeed.
1. Online support
Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme members have access to an online called Future You®*.
Future You is our award winning, innovative tool that helps eligible members manage their Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme account online.
If you’re a member of our Scheme and haven’t tried it yet, you can go online and use Future You to:
- choose a desired retirement lifestyle – No Frills, Flexible, or Deluxe, or create your own – and learn how much it might cost
- find out what your account balance is estimated to be by the time you’re eligible to withdraw your money
- discover how making relatively small changes to your KiwiSaver account– could help you achieve your preferred lifestyle.
And if you want to make any changes to your KiwiSaver account, Future You allows you to make certain changes on the spot.
You can also get loads of useful information from our website, including helpful blog posts on topics such as investing, setting money goals and retirement planning.
2. Customer services
If you need more help, we have a customer services team available to answer your questions.
Our customer services team is the first point of contact for information about the Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme and our services.
Matt Beach manages the team.
“I think callers like knowing that we’re based in New Zealand,” he says.
“We give them balanced, factual information they can use to make decisions. We always aim to make them feel as comfortable and empowered as possible.”
“It’s really rewarding when you get a call from someone who is now retired. They’ve only been in KiwiSaver for up to 10 years, but they often say they have a nice nest egg that wouldn’t have been there without KiwiSaver.”
Matt and the team are available by phone, email or our website on weekdays between 8am and 5pm.
3. Financial advisors
If you need personalised advice, our in-house financial advisers can help you to better understand your financial position and the changes you could make to potentially grow your wealth.
We have a team of financial advisers who are there to give you honest, expert answers to your investment questions.
Together, our online tools, our customer services team and our financial advisers can give you the support you need to achieve a better lifestyle when you’re ready to retire.
In the words of another of our members:
“They give you easy tools to use to work out the best plan for your situation. They ask your opinion and someone got back to me with advice about my plan. I feel I can find the answers I need there about questions I may have in the future about retirement”
